2016 Throwbacks
2026 is the new 2016. I had a lot less variety in games I played at the time BUT was always playing online with friends. If I wasnāt playing online I was probably watching YouTube funny gaming videos
Looking back at 2016, itās clear how online gaming communities created lasting connections. Although my game variety wasnāt huge, I spent countless hours playing Call of Duty Infinite Warfare with friends. While I wasnāt always a fan of every titleāCall of Duty Infinite Warfare, for example, wasnāt my favoriteāI still appreciated the thrill of multiplayer battles. GTA V, released earlier in 2013, remained a top favorite for online gameplay, offering an open world that felt alive and immersive. Besides playing, a big part of my gaming experience involved watching YouTube funny gaming videos. They offered lighthearted entertainment and a chance to see hilarious moments and creative gameplay from other players, which made downtime enjoyable. Itās fascinating how the mix of playing with friends online and consuming gaming content online helped build a vibrant gaming culture even a few years ago. This throwback reminds me that despite less variety in my gaming lineup, the social and entertainment value of games was never lacking. Gaming back then was more about bonding and shared experiences than just new releases. For anyone looking to relive those moments or explore the essence of online gaming culture from that era, revisiting Call of Duty Infinite Warfare and GTA V online communities is a great start. Itās a reminder that sometimes the memories and fun shared through these games outweigh the number of titles played.

Havenāt had a great lineup of games in 2025 in my opinion but Iām thinking 2026 will be better Iām waiting for the new wolverine game so hype
