College pregnancy
Being pregnant from a pretty well known person made me want to keep my pregnancy private. I was only pregnant during the end of college but the morning sickness really affected me. It was hard not having the support of all my friends since they didn’t know….but it’s college. People talk and I didn’t want that!
Looking back I’m glad I kept it private bc once I posted I was pregnant boy did the messages flow in about who it was with 😅 it saved a ton of stress but did cause even more stress

Pregnancy during college can be both challenging and isolating. Many young women find themselves navigating a complex landscape of emotions and societal expectations. It’s important to consider how to balance academic responsibilities with the needs of pregnancy, especially during those early months when support may feel limited. Morning sickness can be particularly overwhelming, and it’s crucial to have coping strategies in place. Many college resources, including counseling and health services, may provide invaluable support for pregnant students. Sharing experiences online can also create a sense of community, helping to connect those facing similar challenges. Balancing social life and privacy often becomes a topic of discussion among young mothers, who may choose to disclose their pregnancy at different stages. Additionally, coping with unsolicited advice and rumors is something many young mothers encounter. Being proactive about mental health and utilizing campus resources can aid in managing stress and navigating the complexities of motherhood at a young age. Ultimately, each journey is unique, and the decision to share or keep one's experience private should be made with thoughtful consideration.
