Hey fellow collectors! 👋 So glad you're here to chat about the amazing Sanrio x Yu-Gi-Oh! McDonald's Happy Meal toys. It’s been such a thrill hunting these down! I’m still on the lookout for Chococat and Hello Kitty to complete my set, but I was super lucky to snag Kuromi as Slifer the Sky Dragon, Pompompurin as Exodia, and Pochacco as Time Wizard recently! The joy of opening that Happy Meal box and finding a new figure is just unmatched. Speaking of Happy Meals, some of you asked about 'Sanrio food' or 'Hello Kitty food.' While these specific toys aren't edible, they come with a Happy Meal! It's part of the fun – getting a tasty meal and a surprise toy. If you're like me and mostly in it for the toys, you can often just ask for the toy without the meal, or get a kids' meal for your collection. Remember, the focus here is on the fantastic collaboration that brings us these unique figures! This collaboration really brings back so many memories for long-time Sanrio fans. Growing up, I loved collecting all things Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Cinnamoroll. It's wild to think how Sanrio characters have charmed us for decades, even since the '80s! This Yu-Gi-Oh! crossover is such a creative twist, combining classic cute with iconic anime. Seeing Cinnamoroll as the majestic Blue-Eyes White Dragon is just too perfect, and Kuromi as Slifer the Sky Dragon is absolutely iconic! For those wondering how to get your hands on them, it's usually a matter of visiting different McDonald's locations. Sometimes, different branches have different toy rotations, so don't give up if you don't find your desired one on the first try! Don't be afraid to politely ask the staff which toys they have in stock – sometimes they can even peek for you. And if you get duplicates, consider trading with friends or other collectors online – that’s how I got my Cinnamoroll! It's a great way to connect with the community and help each other complete the set of eight. Once you've got your collection going, how do you display them? I love seeing all seven (or eight, if you get the full set!) packaged Sanrio x Yu-Gi-Oh! x McDonald's Happy Meal toys lined up. You can create a cute display case or even make a little DIY diorama. For those interested in 'Hello Kitty food paper squishy' or other crafts, imagine making tiny themed backdrops for your figures! Or even creating custom stands.
