My favorite winter jacket 🧥
This is by far my favorite wool jacket that I bought in London.
It’s call Hobbs and I love the style and cutting of the jacket. It is super warm because it contain wool and the quality is great compared to other jacket I have. The size is XS and the length is perfect.
This is found in the clearance section by accident and it is around $150 usd I believe. I realize the pocket got a hole but you can stitch it back. You can’t tell from the outside so I think it’s totally worth it for this style and color.
This is like my all time jacket when I want to go out and dress up in winter. I get rid of all kind of jacket but never this one

My love affair with my Hobbs wool jacket started with a lucky find in London, but it’s truly opened my eyes to the enduring appeal of Hobbs. If you’re like me, constantly on the hunt for those timeless pieces that elevate your winter wardrobe, then Hobbs jackets are definitely worth exploring! They’re renowned for their sophisticated British design, quality craftsmanship, and use of beautiful fabrics like the wool in my own treasured coat. It’s not just about a label; it’s about investing in a piece that makes you feel chic and put-together, whether you’re strolling through a city park or heading to a formal event. What I've learned from owning my Hobbs jacket is that true quality stands the test of time. While my particular find was a clearance gem, even at full price, these jackets offer incredible value. The wool content means they're exceptionally warm without being bulky, and the tailoring is always impeccable, giving a flattering silhouette. I often get compliments when I wear my long pink jacket, paired with a light beret and even dark green over-the-knee boots, just like you might see in a stylish photo next to a grand classical building. It’s this attention to detail and classic design that makes them so versatile and durable. Forget fast fashion; a Hobbs jacket is an heirloom. Speaking of styling, a Hobbs jacket is incredibly versatile. For a casual yet chic look, I often throw mine over jeans and a sweater, adding a silk scarf for a touch of elegance. But it also dresses up effortlessly. Imagine pairing a tailored Hobbs blazer with a sleek dress for the office, or a statement wool coat, like the one I found, with a grey dress and those elegant over-the-knee boots for an evening out, perhaps leaning against a stone railing with a beautiful white horse statue in the background. The key is their classic lines and quality fabrics that allow them to integrate seamlessly into various outfits, making them a true wardrobe workhorse. Don't be afraid to experiment with bold colors too; a vibrant Hobbs coat can truly brighten up those dreary winter days! If you’re considering investing in a Hobbs jacket, keep an eye out for sales and clearance sections, just like I did! Sometimes you can find incredible deals on high-quality pieces. When shopping, pay attention to the material composition – wool blends offer warmth and durability, while cashmere blends provide luxurious softness. Check the fit around the shoulders and arms; a good fit is crucial for a polished look. And once you have your perfect Hobbs jacket, proper care is essential to ensure it lasts. For wool, gentle dry cleaning is usually recommended. Store it on a padded hanger to maintain its shape, and address any small issues, like a pocket hole, promptly to keep your jacket in pristine condition for years to come. It’s a commitment, but one that pays off with enduring style and warmth. My Hobbs jacket isn't just a piece of clothing; it's a confidence booster and a symbol of smart dressing. It proves that investing in fewer, higher-quality items can truly transform your wardrobe. Whether you're navigating bustling city streets or enjoying a quiet winter walk, a Hobbs jacket wraps you in comfort and style. It truly is a winter must-have that I couldn't recommend more!
