I was so happy to be back in the Pembroke Hills world again! Camille and Ryker were red hot and I loved every minute of their tension filled story!
My heart broke for Camille every time her father was in her presence. He just liked to belittle her even though she was the most amazing woman! She's strong, smart, and has a backbone of steel. Underneath it all though, she has a soft heart and just wants to be loved.
Ryker lost his mom and has been spiraling ever since. I hated that he no longer liked himself, but watching him grow back into the man he liked? Wonderful! He had such an amazing heart.
These two were so afraid to be vulnerable with one another again. But when they finally give in? All the feels! Their connection was unmatched and so powerful. It went beyond physical attraction. Ryker was the only one who truly saw Camille and loved her because of it. Camille helped him to want to be a better man and loved him for who he was. In short, they're so absolutely perfect together!
I loved their banter and passion. The way everything was wrapped up was perfection. I can't wait for more of this series!
