I Didn’t Want to Live For Weekends Anymore

I came to this decision because I was laid off from my full time corporate 9-5 and realized I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life rushing through weekdays just to live for the weekend. Time goes way too fast. I want it to slow down, and enjoy the little things again. I want work that doesn’t cost me my mental health.

This is my first time in the digital space and I’m excited to finally jump on the bandwagon! With support, structure, and honesty.

I’m documenting what I’m learning and building in real time, for anyone who knows they want more out of life but doesn’t want to burn themselves out chasing it. If this is you, hello friend!

... Read moreExperiencing a layoff from a traditional 9-5 job was initially overwhelming, especially as it deeply affected my mental health. However, it became a turning point that pushed me to explore opportunities in the digital marketing space. One of the biggest challenges I encountered was overcoming the uncertainty of where to begin—digital marketing is a vast field, and diving in without guidance can easily lead to burnout or confusion. What really helped me was finding community and support. Engaging with others who were also navigating online businesses or side hustles provided a sense of shared experience and practical advice. Having structure in my day, even as I worked independently, helped me maintain momentum. I set small, achievable goals daily, which prevented me from feeling overwhelmed. Another important realization was to prioritize my mental health by setting clear boundaries between work and rest. Unlike the typical 9-5 grind where the end of the day is fixed, working online requires intentional breaks to avoid the trap of overworking. I started using techniques like time blocking and mindfulness practices to sustain my focus and well-being. For anyone considering a career pivot or building something online after a setback, my advice is to seek mentorship and join communities that encourage honesty about struggles and successes. Digital marketing offers many pathways, but the key is to avoid rushing and to pace yourself. Embracing the journey with patience and support can transform uncertain times into opportunities for growth and a more fulfilling way of working. If you're selling online or looking to replace your 9-5 without sacrificing your mental health, know that building structure and momentum, backed by a supportive community, makes all the difference. Remember, slowing down to enjoy the small moments is not just a luxury but a vital part of sustainable success and happiness.

Burnout Had Me Thinking I Needed a New Life

I didn’t realize how off I felt… until I didn’t anymore
I didn’t realize how off I felt… until I started paying attention. Low energy. Foggy focus. Mood all over the place. Nothing “serious”… but also not how I wanted to feel every day. I kept thinking I just needed more sleep… or more discipline… or another random supplement. But the truth?

I Don’t Hide Behind Alcohol Anymore & Here’s Why⬇️
Too much? I don’t talk about this often. Mostly because it’s a little embarrassing. But it’s the truth. And if it helps one person who feels like I did, then so be it. Can I be real for a second? I used to dread holidays. Not because I didn’t love my family or the fireworks or the food... But

The best thing my home management binder gave me was my weekends back.
For a long time, my weekends were spent trying to catch up. Catch up on laundry. Catch up on cleaning. Catch up on meal planning. Catch up on all the things I didn’t get done during the week. The problem wasn’t that I needed to work harder. The problem was that I didn’t have a sys

You’re allowed to want more than weekends.
You’re allowed to build a life that feels good on a random Tuesday, not just when the clock finally lets you breathe. Desire isn’t greed. It’s direction. And if you feel that pull? Follow it. That’s your future calling you forward. #quotes #digitalproducts #financialfreedom #bossbab

Ever look at your life and think… “Surely this can’t be it?” 🤷‍♀️ Same. I hit a point where the meetings, the deadlines, the rushing, the constant guilt, just stopped making sense. I didn’t want my life to be squeezed into weekends and annual leave anymore. So I’m changing it. Actively.
