MY SECOND TRIMESTER SYMPTOMS <3
I forgot to crop my photos, I apologize if you have to zoom in !
Here are my second trimester symptoms from week 14-26💜 if you made it to the last slide you probably read my concern once i reached week 26, however i had my prenatal appt the 27th week and all was/is well! Baby girl has grown A LOT so her movements are going to constantly change. she is losing space in the womb so she can’t bounce around as much as she used to. I also had started a new office job so I don’t always recognize her movements when i’m working. As long as she’s moving, she’s good! I also had a scare with her heart rate before this appointment. My at home doppler was reading 114-115. They say that it is normal for it to drop occasionally but it stayed the same and sometimes dropped to 109. We checked her heart rate at the appt and it read 145, so my doppler was way off and my midwife said to stop using it because it’s most likely triggering my anxiety than helping. i’m 31 weeks now and haven’t touched it since 💜
Other than that, the second trimester has been a joy, along with the entire pregnancy. My symptoms weren’t all over the place as much in this trimester, they stayed pretty consistent.
I hope when I post these things people don’t take it the wrong way. In no way shape or form am I trying to promote the “downsides” of pregnancy. This is all to share my experience and the realness that comes along with it. So yes, I may have a bad week of pregnancy, my acid reflux may be tough and I may not feel 100% all the time. I want to strongly say that this is NORMAL and regardless of how good or bad a week is, I’m still loving every second of it. I’m super blessed to be on this journey.
Until my next post xx.

The second trimester is often referred to as the golden period of pregnancy, with many women experiencing fewer symptoms compared to the first trimester. Common symptoms during this phase include cravings, back pain, and the significant growth of the baby which can lead to feelings of fullness or heaviness in the belly. As the baby grows, movements may become more pronounced, and gauging their activity can differ, especially if lifestyle changes like starting a new job occur. It's crucial to stay informed and in tune with your body's signals while maintaining regular prenatal check-ups. Health professionals often emphasize the importance of monitoring fetal heart rate and alleviating anxiety related to home monitoring equipment. Many expectant mothers share their experiences online, creating a supportive community where challenges are acknowledged and normalized. Remember, every pregnancy journey is unique, and being open about these experiences can help others who might be feeling overwhelmed or uncertain. Embrace your pregnancy journey with positivity and self-care, celebrating each milestone!
