I finally finished the Witcher race and got my Conqueror medal! It’s my first medal since my foot injury and it took about two months to get, so it means a lot that I finally received it today. 😊🐺❤️

... Read moreCompleting the Witcher race and finally earning the Conqueror medal has been an incredibly rewarding milestone, especially after my foot injury that slowed me down for months. Dealing with a neuroma in my right foot since April made running and even opening the medal box a challenge, but perseverance made it possible. What made the accomplishment even sweeter was the uniqueness of the medal itself. Featuring designs from Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, including dual-sided artwork of Ciri and Geralt, the medal is not just an emblem of victory but a collector's treasure with a magnetic clasp for easy display. The physical symbol of hard work feels like a little piece of the Witcher world I’ve carried through my fitness challenge. From a fitness perspective, this journey taught me a lot about the importance of cross-training and patience. I incorporated weightlifting alongside running to strengthen my muscles and reduce stress on my injured foot, while regular gym workouts kept my overall fitness balanced. Training in Alaska added beautiful scenery and fresh air but also posed unique challenges like cold weather and uneven terrain. For anyone recovering from similar injuries, my advice is to focus on gradual improvement, listen to your body, and celebrate every small win — the Conqueror medal is proof that dedication pays off. There’s something special about overcoming physical barriers and feeling your progress tangibly through medals and achievements, fueling motivation to take on the next challenge.
