#momvlog Lots of yummy coffee, EVERYONE did lots of cleaning, I did lots of laundry, the hubby cooked lots of food, McDonald’s for dinner costs lots of $$$ and we ended the night with lots of fun! #sundayreset #sahmvlog #relatablemom #youaremomenough
Managing a busy household as a stay-at-home mom of four kids—from teen to toddler—can be both rewarding and exhausting. One thing I’ve learned over the years is how important a Sunday reset can be to prepare for the week ahead. Starting the day with a warm cup of coffee really sets the mood for productivity and a positive mindset. Cleaning as a family not only lightens the workload but creates a sense of teamwork and responsibility among children. I make it fun by turning on upbeat music or turning cleaning into a little game, which helps keep my kids engaged whether they are putting away toys or tidying up their rooms. My husband often takes over cooking duties on these days, allowing me to focus on laundry and organizing. It balances the workload and keeps the family connected. Even though sometimes dinner choices like McDonald’s might hit the budget a bit harder, it’s okay to have those occasional treats that bring joy to everyone. Ending the day with family fun time really recharges us all—whether it's playing games, watching a favorite show, or just sharing stories from the day. Incorporating a regular Sunday reset routine has personally helped me reduce weekday stress and maintain a clean, happy home environment. Remember, it’s all about finding balance and recognizing that every small effort counts when managing a busy family life as a SAHM of four.
