As someone who embraces the #homebody vibe, it can be exhausting yet fulfilling to get ready for multiple gatherings like school year parties and milestone celebrations such as a 40th birthday. I find that preparing in advance, from planning outfits to organizing party details, helps reduce last-minute stress and allows me to enjoy these moments more. Also, sharing authentic, real experiences through the #grwmmomedition community has been a great way to connect with other moms going through similar seasons. It's reassuring to see we're all juggling being present for our families while craving downtime. Incorporating hashtags like #ditlofamom and #youaremomenough highlights a supportive mindset that I carry into each busy day. When hosting a birthday party, especially a big milestone like 40, I focus on creating a fun yet relaxed atmosphere where guests feel comfortable, often inspired by family-friendly themes such as #disneyfamily. It’s important to take breaks and step outside occasionally, even if it means “to leave the house (again),” to recharge. Balancing these social and homebody moments requires flexibility and self-compassion. Sometimes, it's okay to say no or delegate tasks to keep my energy up. Ultimately, embracing both sides—the busy celebrations and quiet home moments—helps me maintain balance and enjoy life’s special occasions with gratitude.
