I’m trying my best, but they can’t be perfect… sorry to their future partner the sneezes, chewing and gulps annoy me too 😩😂 #momofboys #boymom #raisingboys
Raising three boys has been an adventurous and eye-opening journey filled with both challenges and rewarding moments. From an early age, I’ve emphasized the importance of responsibility by teaching them household chores such as laundry, dishes, and general cleaning. This not only helps keep our home in order but also instills a sense of respect and teamwork among the boys. One key aspect I've focused on is discussing boundaries and consent, which is so crucial during their development stages. It’s not always easy, but having open conversations helps them understand respect for others and themselves. Interestingly, dealing with their annoying little habits—like one of them sneezing loudly, another chewing noisily, and a third gulping drinks—has taught me a lot about patience and acceptance. These quirks may be frustrating at times, but they’re part of their unique personalities and who they’ll grow up to be. Teaching them practical bathroom etiquette, like lifting and wiping the seat, was another milestone that highlights how parenting is as much about small daily lessons as it is about big life values. Through these experiences, I’ve realized that perfection in parenting is a myth. Instead, embracing imperfection while doing one’s best creates a loving and supportive environment. Fellow parents out there, remember that it’s okay if everything isn’t perfect—consistency, kindness, and patience will go a long way in shaping respectful, caring kids.
