Low rise jeans !??….
Okay yall I know that low rise jeans have gotten super popular lately that I was even convinced to hop on board but I just don’t know !!!! The jeans I have on in this video are from Hollister and I did end up getting them but after the first time of wearing they just don’t hit the same anymore…..idk could just be me. What are ya’lls thoughts on low rise jeans #lemon8diarychallenge #outfitinspo #lowrisejeans
Okay, so like many of you, I've been seeing low-rise jeans everywhere again, and the thought of them coming back completely sent me into a spiral! After trying a pair from Hollister, I totally get why there's so much debate. It's not just about finding a pair – it's about whether they actually work for your style and comfort. First off, let's tackle the burning question: Are low-rise jeans really back in style? From what I'm seeing on TikTok and in fashion magazines, yes, they are making a huge comeback. But it's not the same low-rise we saw in the early 2000s (thank goodness!). This time, it feels a bit more refined, often paired with slightly longer tops or styled in a way that feels more effortless than aggressively trendy. So, if you're wondering if you should jump back on board, the answer is probably yes, if you want to! Now, for those of us who are curious but hesitant, let's talk about styling. One of the biggest concerns I've heard (and felt!) is about what to wear underneath or how to avoid that feeling of exposure. For ultra low-rise jeans or even just your average low-cut pair, seamless underwear is truly your best friend. Thongs or g-strings designed for no-show lines are perfect for maintaining comfort and confidence. You can also play with layering – think a cute camisole under a cropped cardigan, or a slightly oversized t-shirt that just grazes the waistband. Don't feel pressured to show off your midriff if that's not your vibe! When it comes to finding the right pair, it’s all about experimenting. My Hollister pair felt okay, but I'm still on the hunt for that perfect fit. I’ve seen some really cool Levi loose low jeans that give a more relaxed, skater-girl vibe, which I’m totally into. Brands like Pacsun, Rewash, and even some indie labels like Espejo are also putting out their own interpretations. Look for fabrics with a bit of stretch for comfort, especially if you're not used to the lower waistline. Some might prefer a more rigid denim for a vintage feel, but for everyday wear, a little give goes a long way. And what about the different rises? You've got your classic low-rise, but then there's ultra low-rise, which sits even lower on the hips. It really depends on your personal comfort level and the look you're going for. I'd suggest trying on a few different styles, maybe even from brands like Revice if you're looking for unique details like a white waistband, to see what feels right for you. Don't be afraid to try on a few different sizes too, as the fit around the hips can vary greatly. Ultimately, fashion is about what makes you feel good. If the idea of low-rise jeans makes you excited, go for it! If you're like me and still on the fence, give them a try with an open mind. You might just surprise yourself. After all, fashion cycles, and what's "in" today might be "out" tomorrow, but personal style is forever!
