If you’re planning a trip to Jeju Island, be sure to add Audrant Bakery to your breakfast stops. Their garlic bread is unexpectedly rich with a hint of sweetness that kept me coming back for two days straight. It pairs wonderfully with their other baked delights, making for a perfect start before a day of sightseeing. A day trip to Udo Island is a must: I rented a bus to circle the island, but bicycles are available too if you'd like a slower, more intimate pace. Don’t forget to bring your passport as it’s required for the ferry. While on Udo, treat yourself to the famous peanut ice cream – it’s creamy, crunchy, and packed with local flavor. I found it refreshing after my outdoor adventures. On Day 6, I tried surfing at Woljeongri beach. For just 60,000 KRW with a helpful coach guiding groups, it’s a fantastic way to embrace the ocean waves even as a beginner. No trip to Korea feels complete without visiting a traditional jjimjilbang (sauna). The one near the colorful Rainbow Road was not only relaxing but also conveniently located for some vibrant street photo ops afterward. These experiences made my Jeju trip unforgettable, blending the island’s natural beauty with unique local flavors and leisure activities. I highly recommend carving out time for these activities to feel fully immersed in Jeju’s charm.
