In the hospitality industry, days can feel slow, especially on rainy Saturdays. However, every moment offers opportunities to connect with colleagues and customers alike. My experiences as a waitress highlight the importance of adaptability and positivity. On days when the pace is slower, I find joy in creating delicious snacks for staff and enjoying the camaraderie with my team. For instance, last Saturday, we enjoyed a delightful chocolate chip biscuit break, which lifted our spirits. It's essential to appreciate the little victories at work, whether it's a great espresso bellini or a busy dinner rush that keeps us on our toes.
