Another series of rating birthday goodie bags!
*2-3yo
1. Fine motor fun (airclay, watercolor painting, 3D puzzles, 3D blossom building blocks, tracing book, busy book, flower garden building toys)
The 3D blossom building blocks were fun! My child was given a small pack and I carted out more for him from TB hehe. l love the airclay too hahaha dk is my child play or i play heh but he likes it too! The flower garden building toys abit short lifespan tho, but can use as decor after I guess haha. The rest were pretty good gifts too!
2. Others (charades, socks, water gun)
I think charades is quite a good intro of "card games" for children this age! Didn't expect socks as a gift but such a necessity amirite so I love it! Water gun - pretty cool too!
Part I here :)
When preparing goodie bags for toddlers aged 2-3, I found that combining fun and functional gifts really makes a difference. Items like airclay and 3D blossom building blocks not only entertain but also support fine motor skill development. My child enjoyed playing with the airclay so much that sometimes I ended up joining in the fun! The flower garden building toys lasted a short time but doubled as cute decorations afterward. Including charades as an introduction to card games was a hit; it’s a great way to build cognitive and social skills. Socks surprised me as a gift choice but proved to be a practical and appreciated addition by parents. For outdoor play, water guns brought excitement and active fun. Overall, combining creative and useful gifts ensures the goodie bags are more than just treats — they become memorable and enriching experiences for toddlers and parents alike. If you're curious about more ideas or want to tailor goodie bags to different ages or themes, exploring simple tracing books or busy books can provide quiet play options that support learning. From personal experience, balancing educational and playful items keeps children engaged and happy. I recommend sourcing some items from online stores or local shops like TB for good variety and prices. Remember, the key is to consider what can stimulate curiosity and motor skills in toddlers while being practical enough for parents. This approach not only makes the gifts thoughtful but also extends their value beyond the birthday party moment.
