Married by 20

Getting married young is an experience that not everyone understands, but it can be incredibly fulfilling. For many, like myself, being a stay-at-home wife at 19 means diving into a life filled with nurturing tasks. From baking daily bread to whipping up delicious cookies, these activities bring joy and warmth to our home. Being engaged at 17 and preparing for marriage at 19 has allowed me to focus on creating a loving environment. While some may be surprised by my decision to embrace traditional roles, my identity as a strong feminist supports the right for every woman to choose her own path. This journey is about empowerment and recognizing that there’s strength in choosing to be a wife and caretaker. Additionally, caring for pets and managing a household provides a sense of accomplishment. It’s about finding balance - feeling fulfilled in the role I’ve chosen while navigating societal expectations. As I look forward to marrying my love in August, I am thrilled to share my story and invite others to explore the beauty of love, marriage, and the unique challenges that come with being a young wife.
