Weak people stay stuck in what happened.
Strong people study what happened — and move forward.
It’s not that strong people don’t hurt.
They just refuse to build a home in the hurt.
One replays the wound.
The other extracts the wisdom.
That shift — from reaction to reflection — is what changes a life.
This is the work inside The Power of the Reframe and the companion workbook:
learning how to revisit your story without living in it.
If you’re ready to stop circling the same patterns and start reframing them, the link is in my bio.

Navigating through emotional challenges is never easy, and I’ve personally found that the way we choose to perceive our wounds can drastically impact our healing journey. Weak people often remain trapped by their past, replaying the hurt over and over, which keeps them stuck in a cycle of pain. On the other hand, strong people acknowledge their pain but refuse to make it their permanent home. They focus instead on learning from their experiences. This shift from reaction to reflection is powerful. For me, it meant taking a step back and examining why certain events hurt so deeply and what lessons I could extract from them. Instead of letting vulnerability become a weakness, I embraced it as an opportunity for connection and growth, much like the contrast Mel Robbins describes in her insights on vulnerability and strength. Using reframing techniques, I began to rewrite my narrative—not by ignoring what happened but by changing how I related to it. This approach aligns with the mindset shift advocated in The Power of the Reframe, encouraging us to revisit our stories without being trapped by them. I also noticed how this practice helped me avoid the common pitfall of focusing on others’ mistakes or shortcomings. Instead, I learned to focus on my inner work and emotional growth, which enhanced my resilience. It’s about moving from a place of reaction to one of empowerment. If you’re caught in a loop of negative patterns, embracing this reframing mindset could be the key to breaking free and progressing towards a healthier emotional state.
