I’ve been wanting to start a Podcast on my YouTube channel and speak on what Women go through on the daily. Getting a glimpse of our world. Talk about EVERYTHING from the tea.
Id love suggestions from my Lemon8 Girlies that should be a topic or something you’d want advice on or something you feel should be talked about more. ANYTHING DROP IT IN THE COMMENTS 🎀
... Read moreHey Lemon8 fam! So, you might have noticed my hair in the pic, and yes, I've been getting so many questions about it! I recently decided to switch things up and went for a beautiful dark brown base with that trendy blonde money piece, and I'm absolutely obsessed! It’s such a game-changer for my look, adding a pop of brightness around my face without committing to full blonde.
If you're thinking about getting a blonde money piece on your dark brown hair, let me tell you my experience. Finding the right stylist is KEY. I spent ages looking for someone who understood how to lift dark hair without causing too much damage, and who could create that seamless, sun-kissed effect. You want it to look natural, like the sun just decided to kiss the front strands of your dark hair featuring white streaks (well, highlights!). Make sure you bring lots of inspo pics to your consultation!
The process itself was pretty straightforward, but it did take a few hours. My stylist used a balayage technique for the blonde pieces, focusing mainly on the front sections and around my face. It really brightens everything up so beautifully. Post-salon care is crucial, girls! To keep that blonde looking fresh and not brassy against my dark brown hair, I rely on purple shampoo once a week. Also, a good leave-in conditioner and heat protectant are my best friends, especially since I love styling my hair with my hot tools.
I've noticed this style really adds dimension and can make your hair look thicker, which is such a bonus for me. It's also super versatile – whether I wear my hair up or down, those blonde pieces always peek through, giving a chic vibe. It’s definitely a conversation starter, and I've had so many friends ask about it. It’s funny how a new hairstyle can make you feel so confident and ready to take on new things, like, say, starting a podcast!
Speaking of which, this whole hair journey got me thinking about how much we women talk about our looks, our feelings, and everything in between. That's exactly why I'm so excited about my new podcast venture. We'll be diving deep into all the topics that matter to us – from beauty and style tips (like this money piece trend!) to navigating daily challenges, relationships, and just general life insights. I really want it to be a space where we can share our experiences, support each other, and just have some real "girl talk."
So, if you're rocking dark brown hair with a blonde money piece or thinking about it, what are your thoughts? Any tips or tricks you swear by for keeping your color vibrant? And what kind of "girl talk" topics would you love to hear on the podcast? Let me know in the comments – your suggestions are super important to me as I plan this exciting new chapter!
