I mean, a black cereal box featuring Wednesday Addams? Yes, please! It definitely stands out on the shelf, and as a collector of all things spooky and themed, I couldn't resist. The box itself is a piece of art, showcasing Wednesday in her classic pose, and asking the crucial question: 'WEDNESDAY CEREAL YAY OR NAY?'. Turning the box over, I was delighted to find not just a bland nutritional label but a 'SEARCH HIGH & WOE' game, complete with puzzles and clues that really lean into the Wednesday series vibe. It’s a nice touch that adds to the overall experience, making it more than just breakfast – it's an interactive collectible! And on the side, those 'DID YOU KNOW?' facts about Wednesday Addams, like her not blinking in the show or being born on Friday the 13th, are such fun little nuggets for fans. The decorative spider webs around these facts really complete the gothic aesthetic. Now, onto the main event: the taste! The original article mentioned it's a 7/10 and 'not too sweet,' and I generally agree. This Kellogg's Wednesday Cookies & Creme cereal is exactly that – cookies and creme flavored. The little pieces are dark, reminiscent of crushed chocolate cookies, with tiny white marshmallow bits that bring in the 'creme' aspect. It’s definitely less sugary than some other novelty cereals out there, which I appreciate. For me, it struck a good balance; you get that familiar chocolatey cookie flavor without an overwhelming sweetness that makes your teeth ache. The texture is pretty standard for a cereal of this type – crunchy at first, but it does soften up in the milk relatively quickly. It doesn't get mushy instantly, which is a win, but it's not one of those cereals that stays rock-hard forever. The milk turns a delightful grey-ish brown, which perfectly fits the Wednesday theme! If you're someone who enjoys a mild chocolate flavor without excessive sugar, this could be a solid pick for you. It might not blow your mind with a unique, never-before-tasted profile, but it’s a comforting, familiar flavor profile with a spooky twist. So, is it a 'yay' or a 'nay'? For me, it leans towards a 'yay,' especially for fans of the show and 'The Addams Family' franchise. It’s a fun, limited-edition treat that encapsulates the spirit of Wednesday Addams, from its striking black box design to the subtle nod to her world with the interactive games and facts. While the taste is good and not overly sweet, it's the entire package – the aesthetic, the fan service, the overall experience – that truly makes this cereal special. It's less about revolutionary flavor and more about celebrating a beloved character. If you spot it, grab a box and decide for yourself!
