For all the moments and memories
“For all the moments, and the memories, you’ve made me more happy than you’ll ever know”
- Aerith
Long rant time
Feeling a sense of accomplishment that I haven’t felt in a really long time. This weekend I tested myself in ways I haven’t creatively in a while. I learned a whole lot of new things and it gave me so many ideas for the future. I’m genuinely excited.
I feel like I’m slowly finding my place not just in the creative space, but in the home I’ve been building for the last 10 years.
I know that’s a weird thing to say, but there’s a lot of times where no matter how many people you come across and enjoy your time with, it can still feel incredibly lonely like you’re talking to a wall. You start to get inside your head that you don’t belong in this space, and kind of want to pack it all up.
It takes fighting those voices in your head, and sometimes a good set of friends alongside you to find yourself again, and take a look back at all you’ve done to get here, and be proud of it.
I’ve always been a one foot forward individual wanting to take on the next project and not taking in what was just done, but I’m finally taking a moment to look back at this past weekend.
I actually cried happy tears which I’ve only ever done when writing music. I was, and still am happy with what I accomplished, and the level of support everyone gave to all of this was just out of control. I’m beyond thankful for it.
This is only the beginning, and if you made it this far down, I hope you continue to come along for the ride.
