Truth is prayers and manifesting and all that extra stuff people do besides putting in the actual work towards yourSELF will slow you down.

By being selfish for a season, I’ve been able to pour into my loved ones and true real friends more than ever before. Booked trips, longer phone calls, life changing conversations, I get to play rich auntie, bridesmaid, best friend all things I could barely do last year because I had spread myself so thin.

Forever grateful to the true friends that allowed me space to nurture myself, that didn’t ask me to give more than I could (even when I communicated I couldn’t. Ppl sometimes love what you do for them more than they love you let that sink in).

I had to go quiet for a season I had to stop showing up for everyone so I could show up for me and I’m forever a better person because of it.
