Book 1 of this series by Freida McFadden was a page turner. Millie recently was released from prison and looking for work. She comes across a maid job for Nina and Andrew and is soon hired. Nina turns out to be a horrible boss towards Millie, to the point that Millie starts to hate Nina. However, Millie is desperate for a job and stays working for the married couple despite the horrid working conditions.
As the book progresses, we learn more about each character that will have you reading for more answers as each page offers twists and turns you didn’t see coming.
