#mydaysofar

Well, today is Saturday, April 19, 2025, and I woke up around 1pm and started working on my disability paperwork and started on some child support stuff for the upcoming week. I have to go to court here in Pennsylvania at the domestic relations department, I think, for the arrears on Heather. I am not sure what is going to happen there, but I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Jennifer went to work today in Erie at her dog grooming job, which meant I was at the house alone with her dad all day. Needless to say that I spent the day sitting in the bedroom by myself again. In a way, that's a good thing because it gave me privacy to work on the things I needed to do that I have put off for way too long. I don't have the energy for it, but I have even less energy to deal with jail right now, which is always a possibility when dealing with the courts in these matters.

I just spent a year and a half in jail and was released about a year ago on May 1st, 2024, and have been struggling mentally ever since. I had never really been to jail before that, and it sorta traumatized me as to the effects that it had on my mind and the burden it placed on my family. Especially the effects it had on my daughter. One day, Daddy was there, and the next, he was gone.

Every day, all day long, I think about her and miss her so much. The last time I saw her was October 30th of 2022, when I stopped over at her mom's house to see her for a few minutes. I never thought it would be the last time before our lives would be turned upside down and forever changed.

After my arrest on Novemvrr 1st of 2022, her mom filed a restraining order against me and got it for 2 years, so I haven't spoken to her in 2 and a half years. I am trying to find the best way to approach this situation without causing more damage than has already been done. Her mom told her that I left and wouldn't be coming around anymore, and I think that she thinks I abandoned her and she had gone through hell mentally. Knowing that she is hurting just because I am her dad is absolutely devastating to me. She is paying for something she didn't do or have anything to do with.

I know that it is in everyone's best interest, well in her best interest, and mine to get my life straightened out so I can not be homeless and be stable to be who I need to be for our future. Right now, the mental and emotional torment is tearing me apart.

Her mom filed contempt on me for child support in Indiana, too, so I am battling two different places, and I am personally afraid that one of them will land me in jail. Mentally, I don't think I can handle anything more to happen to me because I am barely holding on, and my depression and anxiety are out of control while facing a mountain of obstacles I don't know how to deal with and a brain that won't stop long enough to focus on a solution and fight to regain some normalcy and stability in my life that I need to heal.

All of this crap is taking a toll on my marriage. My family isn't really talking to me, and my support system that I have relied on my whole life, so I just bottle things up until I have a meltdown in some way and there is Noone to turn to and Noone to save me from myself. I feel like I have lost my identity, and I don't know how or who I am supposed to be now.

This weekend is my last chance to figure these things out, so I am going to work my butt off to put together a defense for both of them and get this things in motion and really all I want to do is take a nap.
