8km Walk into Nature 🌿🌴

Usually I have been jogging past the north-east park without stopping to slowly admire the surrounding nature and greenery.

Had done the 8km walk into the nature for near to a 2 hours duration. Passing by an area whereby I jog past it every time, it will remind me of the Arashiyama Bamboo forest in Kyoto, due to the hanging roots which creates a secret tunnel vibe (i.e. 3rd photo)

Besides that, I passed by a fallen tree branch (which is rare to see), chickens, chirping birdies and a few of the reptiles, which often seems to be appearing at the jogging lane or bushes in the park.

Moderate walking in the morning before 10am with the mild sunny weather is actually also a good form of cardiovascular exercise, calories burning and great body sweat.

Walking has a lesser impact on the calf and knee cap discomfort, by doing it often helps to build up stamina and gradual weight loss, if we were to do it often or almost everyday.

Upon completion of the walkathon, I have a light and simple brunch of thunder tea brown rice for a healthier diet.

... Read moreIf you're considering a visit to Northeast Park, I highly recommend starting your journey before 10am to enjoy cooler temperatures and gentle sunlight, perfect for a comfortable walk. The park offers a variety of scenic spots that change with the seasons, making each visit unique. During my walk, I noticed the park’s peaceful atmosphere, enhanced by the sounds of chirping birds and the occasional glimpse of reptiles and chickens, adding to the immersive natural experience. The fallen tree branch I saw is a rare sight that adds character and a sense of wilderness to the area. Walking in Northeast Park is not only relaxing but also has significant health benefits. It’s a low-impact exercise that reduces strain on your calves and knees while helping build endurance over time. If you aim to gradually lose weight or improve cardiovascular health, making regular walks here part of your routine could be very effective. After my walk, I enjoyed a simple, nutritious brunch of thunder tea brown rice, which complemented my healthy lifestyle. If you plan to explore more, consider packing light snacks and water to stay energized. For those new to the area, Northeast Park is easily accessible and offers clear walking paths that are safe and well-maintained. Whether you want a peaceful solo walk or a refreshing group outing, it’s a great destination to connect with nature without leaving the city.
