8km Jog to Ang Mo Kio Garden West šāāļøš
Beginning from Punggol Park Connector towards Yio Chu Kang Road.
(*As there will be traffic lights along the way, hence the journey will clock a bit more of time to wait for the green light)
Jog along the Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5 Park Connector Extension, which is a long stretch of straight route.Ā
You will pass by Luxus Hill Road (Luxus Hills Park) -> Ang Mo Kio Linear Park -> Ang Mo Kio North Flyover to Ang Mo Kio Institute of Technical Education (ITE), then Nanyang Polytechnic (photo 2).
After Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5, turn left onto Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8, then right to Ang Mo Kio Central 3, you will soon pass by Ang Mo Kio Polyclinic.
Ahead of Polyclinic, there are some block ways for construction works. Just have to go through according to the designated arrow directions. Thereafter, cross a traffic light and finally you will see Ang Mo Kio Town Garden West.Ā
Take a photo with the signage board (photo 3).
The garden is beautiful for planting lots of tall palm trees. The lengthy tree branch is great for photography (photo 4 to 6), or you can simply lie your back on it or wrap your arms around it (photo 7).
If you have the time, you can slowly stroll one round of the entire garden. There are distinctive rocks which can sit on it (photo 8).
There are those long and wide flights of stairs at the entrance of the garden which you can stand or sit down to take photos too (cover photo).
The sunny weather is so great, though the glaring of the sun is shining right onto my face, when I am smiling to take the photos.
