Rower's Bay, a scenic tranquil lush waterfront nature escape. It is an excellent spot for capturing a wide, panoramic view of the sunrise or sunset overlooking the beautiful Lower Seletar Reservoir, and strolling or jogging along the winding S-curved wooden boardwalk.
The evening sunset view has indeed created a stunning and memorable backdrop for my photos.
After the sunset, the twilight scenery is also mesmerizing. By that time, the park is getting darker with minimal lightings. Upon leaving the park, there is a feeling of inner peace✨
*Note: The area is quite remote and quiet in the night time. Normally it will only be cars passing by the traffic junction.

I recently revisited this hidden gem after many years and experienced firsthand how rejuvenating a simple sunset therapy session can be. The park's location near Seletar Club Road makes it accessible yet peaceful, ideal for unwinding after work or on weekends.
Walking along the S-shaped wooden boardwalk offers not only a gentle exercise but also uninterrupted views of the Lower Seletar Reservoir. The natural surroundings are lush and vibrant, attracting nature lovers and bird watchers who often spot native wildlife enjoying the calm environment. During sunset, the sky transforms into a canvas of warm hues—orange, pink, and purple—which creates stunning photo opportunities. Capturing these moments never gets old, as every evening presents a unique light show.
As the sun dips below the horizon, the atmosphere shifts. Twilight descends, and the park's minimal artificial lighting enhances the sense of closeness to nature. It’s a moment where you can pause, breathe deeply, and absorb the inner peace that the quiet environment imparts. Just be mindful that during nighttime, the area gets quite dark and isolated, with mainly passing cars nearby—so plan your visit accordingly.
Another great aspect is the convenience of public transport: buses 103, 117, and 117M stop close to the park (Opposite JTC Aviation Two), making it easy for locals and visitors without cars to enjoy this serene spot. Whether you’re into jogging, photography, or simply decompressing from a hectic day, Rower’s Bay Park offers all that with an unmatched sunset backdrop.
In my experience, the combination of natural beauty, tranquil vibes, and easy accessibility makes this park an excellent destination for anyone seeking a moment of mindfulness and connection with nature right here in Singapore. Next time you need a break or a place for inspiration, try heading to Rower’s Bay Park for some genuine sunset therapy.
