How I pack orders for my small buisness!

I own Fairys Co. and here's how I pack orders.

We make bracelets and keychain/ phone charms.

- We usually use boxes for our jelly Fish, but we ran out 😭😭

- our jellyfish are 5$ USD

- we love cute packaging.

So, how did I do? Do you have any suggestions on how to make our packaging even cuter and ups safe? Comment down below. #letschat #jewelry

... Read moreHey everyone! Since you asked about my small business order packing process, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into why packaging is such a game-changer and share some extra tips I've picked up along the way. When I started Fairys Co., I quickly realized that packaging isn't just about getting products from A to B – it's a huge part of the customer experience and a fantastic way to build your brand! Like many of you, I'm often packing orders from home. While we love using boxes for our bigger items, sometimes you have to adapt! For our delicate beaded jellyfish keychains, a sturdy purple bubble mailer is often a lifesaver. My priority is always to ensure the product arrives safely. I always make sure to wrap each item carefully, sometimes even with pink heart-shaped bubble wrap, to ensure they arrive perfectly. It's all about finding that sweet spot between protection and presentation, especially when you're shipping unique, handmade products. One thing I swear by is adding a personal touch. After printing the receipt and double-checking the product (like our little pink jellyfish keychain!), I always include a handwritten 'Thank you so much for the order' note. It makes such a difference in making customers feel appreciated! I also make sure to include my 'FAIRY'S COMPANY' business card, because consistent branding is key, right? And let's not forget the fun stuff: freebies! I often tuck in a 'FREE GIFT' bag with a couple of candies like Warheads or Hi-Chew. These little gestures, along with a 'Handmade by me' sticker on the product itself, really show customers they're valued beyond just a transaction. You saw how much I love cute packaging! Once everything is nestled safely in the mailer – the wrapped product, business card, thank you card, and freebies – I seal it up. Then comes the fun part – decorating! A roll of 'Thank you' stickers and an anime-style sticker (because why not add some personality?) on the outside of the sealed purple mailer really brightens it up. It’s the final flourish that makes opening the package an experience in itself, creating that memorable unboxing moment for your customers. For those of you just starting your own small e-commerce venture, don't feel like you need to invest in super expensive materials right away. Start small; you can source your bubble mailers, stickers, and other essentials from places like Amazon, Etsy, or local craft stores. Over time, you'll figure out what works best for your specific products and budget. My goal is always 'ups safe' packaging that feels special and professional without breaking the bank.
