Kuala Lumpur things to do✨

During the recent December holiday period, I went to KL for the first time.

Here are some fun activities that we did.

1. Visited KL shopping malls (Pavillion, Mid Valley, Suria, TRX)

💰 Price: free!

There were so many malls that had such great decorations, free of charge to take photos with ☺️

2. Went to roller skate at Lalaport!

💰 Price: 60 RM 2 hrs pass

3. Berjaya Times Square

💰 Price: Depends

We went for the escape room activity, which was reasonably priced!

4. Batu caves

💰 Price: 200 RM ~

we took a day trip to Batu caves via KLOOK and it was so easy! #notsponsored

There were many more activities that we did! Save this for your next trip to KL 👀

While not as bustling as KL, Alor Setar offers a charming glimpse into Malaysia’s cultural heritage with attractions like the iconic Alor Setar Tower and the Zahir Mosque. Reaching Alor Setar is straightforward by train or bus, making it an easy day trip or overnight getaway option. When there, you can enjoy local delicacies such as Laksa Kedah and fresh seafood, which offer a different taste experience from Kuala Lumpur's dynamic food scene. For travelers interested in history and tradition, Alor Setar features museums and traditional markets where you can interact with locals and collect unique souvenirs. Including this destination can add depth to your Malaysia itinerary, complementing the vibrant city experiences with a touch of authentic Malaysian culture.

Didn’t expect to enjoy a massage this much 😭
I’m usually not a fan of massages as I always feel more bruised than relaxed 😂 But Qi Odyssey completely changed that for me! The therapist really knew how to stretch and release tension properly, and the whole experience felt super rejuvenating. Definitely a place I’ll go back to whenever I’

We don’t take the $50 coaches anymore :)
If you’re looking to go beyond JB and explore other parts of Malaysia - here’s how we’ve been saving money on our coaches! The coaches that pick us up in SG can easily cost $40-$50 (or even more if you opt for the fancy ones with meals and massage chairs 🤣) so we’ve been taking coaches from Larkin
