... Read moreHey bookworms! You know how much I love finding new reads, and this 'your month, your author' challenge totally blew me away. As a March baby myself, I was beyond excited to see Ana Huang listed as my author! If you're into adult romance that keeps you absolutely hooked, listen up. Ana Huang is a true sensation, especially on BookTok, and her 'Twisted' series is probably what she's best known for. And let me tell you, it lives up to the hype! When people search for 'Christian Harper book,' they're almost certainly thinking of 'Twisted Lies,' the fourth and final book in her super popular 'Twisted' series. And for good reason! Christian Harper is the definition of a morally gray, intensely captivating male lead. He's dark, mysterious, and incredibly possessive, but with a hidden vulnerability that just makes you swoon. Seriously, I devoured this book. 'Twisted Lies' tells the story of Christian, a security mogul with a past, and Stella Alonso, a sweet and shy fashion influencer who finds herself needing his protection. What starts as a fake dating arrangement to keep Stella safe quickly turns into an undeniable, scorching hot connection. The chemistry between them is off the charts, and Ana Huang masterfully weaves in suspense and mystery, making it more than just a simple romance. You get the bodyguard trope, forced proximity, grumpy/sunshine dynamics, and a whole lot of delicious tension. What I personally adore about 'Twisted Lies' (and the whole 'Twisted' series, including 'Twisted Games' and 'Twisted Hate' which are also fantastic reads from the collection of her books shown in the images!) is how Ana Huang develops her characters. Christian isn't just a stoic protector; he has depth and a compelling backstory that slowly unfolds. Stella, despite her initial shyness, grows into a strong, resilient woman. Their journey is filled with emotional intensity, steamy moments, and plot twists that kept me guessing until the very end. It's truly a roller coaster of emotions, and I finished it feeling completely satisfied but also wanting to immediately re-read it. If you've been seeing 'Christian Harper book' recommendations everywhere or are just looking for your next addictive adult romance, 'Twisted Lies' is an absolute must-read. It’s spicy, thrilling, and features one of the most memorable book boyfriends out there. Don't be surprised if you end up binging the entire 'Twisted' series after this! So, if you're a March-born book lover like me, grab an Ana Huang book, especially 'Twisted Lies,' and prepare to be swept away!

This is purely based on vibes… don’t ask for an explanation lol. 🐎EVEN IF IT BREAKS YOUR HEART: I picked up this book because the cover was stunning, and the plot ended up being even better. This western romance has DEPTH, on top of comedy and romance. Incredible. 🍎ONCE UPON A BROKEN HEART: A
