Getting back on track with God!
It isn’t always easy but it’s so worth it.
I normally start my morning out with reading my Bible verse from the devotional, then actually reading the devotional, last but most certainly not least I journal to God.
When journaling I normally write a prayer or just simply talk to God about whatever may be going on in my life. I also sometimes use the relatability from my devotional to my everyday life and write about that.
Rather we praise, worship, say a prayer, read our bible, or journal.
As long as we take time throughout the day to spend with the Lord that’s all that matters, buts it’s very important to know his word!
Getting back on track with God can often feel challenging, but integrating simple daily habits can make a significant difference. One effective approach I’ve personally found helpful is starting each morning with a brief moment of reflection and Bible reading from a devotional. This sets a positive tone for the day and helps center my thoughts on God’s promises. Journaling has also become an essential practice in my spiritual journey. Writing prayers and honestly sharing what’s happening in my life with God creates a deeper sense of connection. Sometimes, I like to relate the devotional’s lessons to my personal experiences, which makes the scripture come alive and more relevant. Additionally, it’s important to remember that while different people have different ways of expressing their faith—whether through worship, prayer, Bible study, or journaling—the key is consistently dedicating time to nurture your relationship with God. Reflecting on verses like Psalm 119:33-48 reminds me to be strong and courageous, knowing God guides those who seek His will. Through these routines, I’ve noticed a growth in humility and clarity, helping me hear God’s guidance more clearly. Of course, the path isn’t always easy, but every step spent in God’s presence brings peace and strength to face life’s challenges. For anyone wanting to realign their spiritual life, incorporating devotionals and journaling as daily practices can be a powerful way forward.
