Five Star Reads of 2024 ✨PART I✨

This year I didn’t have a reading goal and just read based on vibes. I got back into reading in 2022 and I feel like I know exactly what I like to read: books by authors of color but in particular those by Black authors.

My favorite genres are romance, historical fiction, thrillers and fantasy. Someday I’ll be a nonfiction girlie but not today.

I read 138 books this year, including novelettes, novellas, audiobooks, ebooks on my kindle and lots of physical books.

Here’s part one of the books that really stood out to me this year! I also read 26 books that I’d consider honorable mentions which I rated 4.5 stars. What was your favorite read this year?
