I've always loved the idea of joining a book club, especially for mysteries where you can theorize and uncover clues together! But as a self-proclaimed slow reader, the thought of keeping up with a strict reading schedule often felt daunting. I mean, who wants to be the one holding up the discussion because they're still stuck on chapter two? If you've ever found yourself wondering how slow readers can genuinely participate in an online mystery book club, you're definitely not alone. Some clubs even break down their discussions by chapters, allowing you to participate with what you've read so far without fear of spoilers for later sections. Don't forget that 'reading' doesn't always mean flipping physical pages. Audiobooks can be a godsend for slow readers, letting you 'read' on the go, during commutes, or while doing chores. Many e-readers also have features like adjustable fonts, line spacing, and even reading speed trackers that can make a significant difference in your comfort and pace.
