I adopted a cat!
One day my friends and I took a trip to Petsmart to get their cats some food. For fun we decided to look at the kittens available to adopt (who doesn’t when they go to the pet store). When we got in the room there was a litter of tabby kittens named Shock, Lock, Barrel, and Oogie boogie after The Nightmare Before Christmas which is one of my favorites! Immediately one of them (Barrel) came up to me screaming and wouldn’t leave my side. I knew I couldn’t leave without him and my friends were encouraging me so I left with an adopt application filled out. The next day I got an email that I could come take him home! I brought him home on 11/11!! His name is Scout and he is one extremely spoiled boy lol. His favorite toys are springs and he hunts them like they are little animals and hides them around the apartment.

Adopting a cat is an enriching experience that goes beyond just gaining a new pet. It's a commitment filled with love and responsibility. Kittens, like my tabby Scout, have unique personalities and can bring joy to your home. When adopting, consider your lifestyle and space to ensure a good fit for you and your new furry friend. The option of adopting rescue animals from shelters or local pet stores gives countless animals a second chance at life. Many organizations also provide tips on integrating your new pet into your home and ensuring their needs are met. Kittens love to explore, play, and develop habits that enrich their lives. Providing stimulating toys and engaging with them regularly can create a strong bond. Additionally, sharing your adoption story can inspire others to consider opening their homes to playful and loving rescue kitties! The joy of caring for an animal is unmatched, making every moment spent a treasured memory. Whether you adopt a kitten or an adult cat, the love you receive in return is priceless.

So cute!! ❤️
