Cerave, living proof, and dove!

✨ CeraVe Retinol: Good, gentle, but didn’t wow me.

✨ Living Proof Conditioner: Nice, but not life changing.

✨ Dove Vitamin Care: Solid deodorant, just not a holy grail.

None were bad…they just didn’t make me immediately run to repurchase. And for me, that’s the difference between a “good product” and a “must have.” On to the next! 😂

... Read moreHaving tried CeraVe Retinol myself, I found it to be surprisingly gentle on my sensitive skin, which is often prone to irritation from retinol products. It gradually improved my skin texture without causing redness, making it a good option for those cautiously introducing retinol into their routines. However, like the original post mentioned, it didn’t deliver dramatic changes fast enough to convince me to re-purchase immediately. As for Living Proof's full conditioner designed for fine, thin, or flat hair, I can relate to the experience of it being nice but not life-changing. It provides a decent level of moisture and detangling, but for someone with finer strands, the results can sometimes feel lightweight and lacking the nourishing richness found in heavier conditioners. Still, it leaves hair feeling clean and manageable, which for many is a win. Dove’s Vitamin Care deodorant with lavender scent offers solid odor protection and a fresh feel throughout the day. From my experience, it's a trustworthy daily deodorant, though it might not stand out compared to more specialized or natural formulations. It works well enough to include in a daily routine but doesn’t elicit that "holy grail" excitement. Overall, these products fall into a category I think many can relate to: effective, reliable, and gentle, but not necessarily revolutionary. For product lovers, understanding the difference between “good” and “must-have” is essential when deciding what to repurchase. This perspective helps manage expectations and encourages exploring new options rather than repurchasing out of habit. If you’re looking for tried-and-true products that won’t disappoint but won’t blow you away, these are worth considering.
