Concealer + The Ordinary
✅ BUY: Hourglass Concealer
I try to keep my make up expenses as budget friendly as possible however, being that I only use concealer and gave up on foundation this concealer goes along way. A small dot of product applies a good amount of coverage which is great for under eye circles. For me, slightly pricey but I can't see myself switching for the foreseeable future. 🫢
• Easy to blend
• Full coverage
• Waterproof
✨ This + Laura Mercier setting powder 😙👌🏼
This has been my first Hourglass product turned repeat purchase and I'm excited to try new ones.
❌ BYE: The Ordinary Hylauronic Acid + B5
On the contrary, I buy The Ordinary products all the time. This hyaluronic acid. + B5 hydrating serum is not for me. Like some of the other negative reviews for this product that I've recently viewed pointed out, the product sits on your face and once it dries, it leaves a cast that peels off. It felt like my skin was shedding, but it was the product.
• Does not moisturize
• Becomes flaky
• Cannot be worn under make-
up; makes make-up application extremely difficult.

Okay, so you've heard me rave about the Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer, and trust me, it’s a game-changer. Especially for those of us struggling with dark undereye circles or needing flawless coverage that lasts all day. I've been getting so many questions about finding the perfect shade, and after trying out a few, I wanted to share my personal tips for navigating the 'hourglass concealer shades' and making the best choice for you. When I first went to Sephora (or Ulta, depending on where you prefer to shop!), I was a bit overwhelmed by the sheer number of 'hourglass concealer shades' available. My personal go-to is 'Cotton,' which works beautifully for brightening my undereye area without looking ashy or chalky. It’s truly become my 'FAVORITE CONCEALER' for that reason. However, if you're looking for something with a bit more warmth to neutralize stubborn darkness, 'Fawn' is another incredibly popular option. Many people love to 'swatch' this shade to see its undertone. The key is to really test 'hourglass concealer swatches' in natural light on your jawline or inner arm, letting them sit for a few minutes to see how they oxidize. Don't be afraid to ask for a sample or a second opinion from a beauty advisor, especially when you're at Sephora or Ulta – they are there to help! Applying this 'FAVORITE CONCEALER' is also an art, and less is definitely more. A tiny dot is truly all you need for impressive coverage. I typically use a damp beauty sponge or even just my ring finger to gently tap and blend it out. The 'airbrush' finish isn't just marketing; it truly melts into the skin, making blemishes and discoloration 'vanish' without creasing throughout the day. It’s also waterproof, which is amazing for long days or if you tend to get a little teary-eyed. My experience has been that it pairs beautifully with a light dusting of setting powder, like Laura Mercier’s, for an even more perfected look. Many people ask me if it's worth the price tag, and for me, it's a resounding 'Buy'! While 'The Ordinary' hyaluronic acid didn't work out as I had hoped, this Hourglass gem is an investment that truly pays off in my makeup routine. It lasts forever because of how incredibly pigmented it is, and the coverage is unparalleled. When you're at Sephora or Ulta, take advantage of their return policies if you're not completely happy, but honestly, I don't think you will be. This product truly lives up to its hype and is a staple in my makeup bag now. If you're still on the fence about the 'Hourglass cotton' shade or wondering about 'hourglass vanish airbrush concealer fawn swatch' comparisons, I highly recommend checking out online swatches and then heading to an actual store. Seeing it on real skin, even if it's just on your hand, makes a huge difference in finding your perfect match. This isn't just a concealer; it’s confidence in a tube for me!
