Your pain is a chronic liar
💯Your pain is a chronic liar.
You’ve been conditioned to believe you’re "too much" or a burden. Truth? You add value just by existing. Your past is a bad narrator—don’t let it write the script for your future.🪶
Living with chronic pain or emotional struggles often means hearing a constant, discouraging voice telling you that you are "too much" or a burden. This inner narrative can be deeply ingrained, especially if we have been conditioned by past experiences or trauma to believe that our presence is unwanted or that our pain invalidates us. However, it is important to recognize that this voice is misleading—a chronic liar that distorts your true value. From my own journey of trauma recovery, I have learned that the way we view ourselves plays a crucial role in healing. When I started to challenge those negative beliefs and viewed my pain as a message instead of a limitation, I began to regain control. It helped me understand that my past experiences, though difficult, do not have to dictate my present or future. Our past can often be a bad narrator—exaggerating our flaws and minimizing our strengths. One practical approach is to practice self-compassion and remind yourself regularly that your existence alone adds value to the world. Joining supportive communities focused on #healingjourney and #mentalhealth can provide encouragement and validation. Using mindfulness techniques to recognize when negative thoughts arise and gently shifting attention to affirmations such as “I belong” or “I am enough” can gradually rewire the mind to foster resilience. Remember, healing from #depressionanxiety or any emotional pain is not linear. There will be setbacks, but each step forward is a testament to your strength. Don’t let the pain script your future; you have the power to write your own story—one filled with hope, growth, and belonging. Embrace your journey with patience and gratitude for yourself, knowing you are not alone.
