Easy and Lazy Meals Part 1 - Pasta
Can you believe it only takes less than 30 mins to make this? Maybe less than 20mins, for sure!
This recipe is good for 2 people and these are the two main ingredients I used for this recipe!
1.Pasta of Choice
2.Kirkland’s Garlic Butter Shrimp (1pack)
How I prepped my pasta with these ingredients
•half a box of pasta you choose or half a pack
•salt
•oil
•splash of vinegar
1. In a large pot, prepare a large amount of water and set it to high heat until it boils
2. Add salt, oil, and vinegar
3. Once the water completely boils, add your pasta. Keep in mind that some pastas are good to cook for 6-12 minutes so definitely check the instructions on how to cook it properly
At the same time or while getting the pasta ready,
1. Set another large pan or large pot and set it to medium heat.
2. Once the your pan/pot is hot, add the pack of Kirkland’s Garlic Butter Shrimp and sauté it for 8-10 minutes
3. The sauce should fully melt down and the shrimp should turn pink-orange. Check the sides of the shrimp and make sure it’s not gray
4. Once cooked you may add the pasta to it and mix thoroughly
5. Taste test and serve!
Overall rating: 10/10: the greasy or the butter texture is thick enough that it tastes like cream.

If you're looking for a quick and delicious meal that requires minimal effort, this garlic butter shrimp pasta recipe is a fantastic choice. Using Kirkland’s Garlic Butter Shrimp makes this recipe even easier since the shrimp come pre-seasoned and ready to cook, saving both preparation and cooking time. When cooking pasta, a splash of vinegar in the boiling water might seem unusual, but it can help prevent the pasta from sticking and adds a subtle depth to the flavor. Adding salt and a bit of oil to the water is a common technique to enhance the pasta's taste and keep it from clumping together. While your pasta boils, sautéing the garlic butter shrimp in a separate pan allows the flavors to meld and the shrimp to turn a beautiful pink-orange, indicating they are perfectly cooked. The garlic butter sauce melts down nicely, providing a rich and creamy coating that complements the pasta wonderfully. For variety, you can customize the recipe by adding vegetables like spinach, cherry tomatoes, or bell peppers to boost the nutritional value and add texture. Fresh herbs like parsley or basil also enhance the freshness and aroma of the dish. This meal is ideal for busy individuals or couples who want a home-cooked dinner without spending too much time in the kitchen. Its simplicity doesn't sacrifice flavor, earning a top rating for tastiness and creamy texture. Remember to always check the cooking time on your pasta package since it varies by type. Al dente pasta adds a great bite and prevents the dish from becoming mushy. This recipe’s flexibility makes it a great template for experimenting with different kinds of seafood or sauces if desired. Overall, this garlic butter shrimp pasta is a crowd-pleaser that balances ease, flavor, and speed, perfect for anyone seeking an easy meal that feels indulgent and satisfying.

This is literally my go-to lazy meal too! That Kirkland shrimp is a game changer. 👌
