What tabs do you like best?
I’ve been using the Post-it branded ones for a while now, but I’m not sure I like them as much as I thought I did.
Sometimes I have to put tape on over them, which feels like it defeats the point since they’re supposed to stick?
So my question is, what brands do people who use them in their notes like?
I’d love to try some and review them over time 🙂
My goal this and next semester is to step up my school notes game 😤
When it comes to sticky note tabs, I've realized that stickiness and durability are key for effective note-taking. From my experience, Post-it tabs are a popular choice but sometimes they don’t stick well enough, which means I’ve had to reinforce them with tape. That obviously defeats their purpose, so I started looking for alternatives. Brands like Avery, 3M, and Staples offer tabs that many users praise for better adhesion and ease of removal without damage. Avery tabs tend to be a bit more affordable and come in a variety of colors and sizes, which helps with organization. On the other hand, 3M’s Post-it brand remains a staple due to their wide availability and consistent quality, though experiences with stickiness seem mixed depending on the specific product line. For clearer notes, I’ve also found that writing with fine-tip pens on tabs improves readability. Some recommend printing labels for extra clarity, which can be especially helpful for study notes or indexing. Considering digital options, online sticky note apps provide excellent usability features like syncing across devices, strong security, and organizational tools. Brands offering top accessibility and functionality include Microsoft OneNote and Google Keep, which are great companions to physical tabs if you want a hybrid approach. For my upcoming semesters, I plan to test different brands and combine physical tabs with digital notes to find the perfect system that keeps everything clear, secure, and easy to access. If you have any favorites or tips, I’d love to hear about your experiences as well!
