I’m honestly not sure what I was expecting going into this. Cute story involving cowboys? I wasn’t necessarily disappointed but I wasn’t blown away either. I think that’s what defines a three star for me. Enjoyable but may not be memorable.
It felt like this story was trying to be two things at once, steamy love story and redemption after an accident. I don’t know if those work together but they gave it their best shot. It felt like it kept telling me but not showing me.
I guess you could summarize this as; it was alright. I could take or leave them as characters. I was more invested in the side characters, which is why I’ll continue the series.
