Good morning 🍁🍂

“The LORD shall fight for you, you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14 NIV tells us this and in the KJV it tells us to “The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”

The LORD blessed this scripture to me in my devotion, and the Holy Spirit asked me “ when are going to let God fight the battle that was never meant for you to fight?”

YEAH. LET THAT SIT.

I started thinking about is how emotionally damaged I have been from handling situations that wasn’t my battle but the LORD’s.

I’m here today to say GIVE IT TO HIM. I know we always want to have answers to everything, fix everything but the things that are broken is for God to repair and heal. *catch it.*

In today's fast-paced world, we often take on battles that are meant for the Lord to fight. The challenges we face can lead to emotional turmoil and distress, overwhelming our spirits. Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us not to be anxious but to present our requests to God with prayer and thanksgiving. By letting go of our burdens, we open ourselves to divine peace, which surpasses all understanding. Surrendering doesn't mean abandoning responsibility; it means recognizing the limits of our control and accepting God's plan for our lives. Healing comes from understanding that we are not alone in our struggles. Putting our faith in God allows us to experience strength that transcends our circumstances. Moreover, reflecting on scriptures like 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a, we see that love is rooted in patience and kindness, enabling us to cultivate compassion towards ourselves as we navigate life's trials. Embrace the power of stillness and prayer, and remember to breathe, trusting that God is in control and is working on your behalf.
