"The ego," or the assessment of self-strength, does not try to spend money that is not yet available, or money that is difficult to earn in excess of things just to need admiration from others.
📍 freedom from the eyes of others.
Many times I see others in debt, not because of necessity, but because of the fear of looking bad "in the eyes of those around you.
This idea taught me to start caring more about my own feelings and family stability than caring about how others view us.
📍 self-responsibility.
In the end, when the bill comes, or when it's time to pay the bills, we're the ones responsible alone.
People who have complimented that we look good or tasteful do not help us pay, so every financial decision is based on truth, not every dream.
