symptoms i didn’t know existed until i got 🤰🏽
i didn’t think these would happen to me until i got pregnant! i always thought it was the normal morning sickness and that’s all. but i was SO WRONG. here are some symptoms i got that didn’t make sense, but made sense at the same time. 😆
💧Waking up drenched in sweat - and till this day i still wake up drenched in sweat, 4 months postpartum. this second pregnancy was absolutely insane.
🥲 Crying over anything - i would cry over anything. i cried because my dog dropped my coffee on accident and i couldn’t drink my husband’s, because his had cinnamon. (im allergic to cinnamon) good reason to cry, but i was so sad lol.
🥤Burping constantly - and not because of soda, but i was full of soooo much air. i was burping a ridiculous amount of times.
🧠 Forgetting what I was doing mid-sentence - i always had to stop and retrace my steps because i kept forgetting what i was doing. sometimes i’d forget what i was saying haha.
🤧💧Sneezing and peeing at the same time - pretty self explanatory, and embarrassing, but i did it once and i was at home lol!
🤰🏽🌮 Being full and starving at the same time - i’m basically eating for two, i was so full but at the same time, i was ready to eat more 🥲

Pregnancy is a unique journey for every woman, often filled with unexpected symptoms and experiences. Many assume morning sickness is the only challenge, but there are numerous lesser-known symptoms that can arise. For instance, waking up drenched in sweat isn’t uncommon, as hormonal fluctuations can cause night sweats during pregnancy. Emotional rollercoasters, like crying over seemingly trivial incidents, are a regular part of the experience due to heightened emotions and hormonal changes. Another common symptom includes excessive burping, which can result from the air swallowed while eating or drinking, or from the growing uterus pressing against the stomach. Cognitive changes, such as forgetfulness, often referred to as 'pregnancy brain', can also occur, making it challenging to concentrate on tasks. Additionally, some women may experience the embarrassing but real scenario of sneezing and peeing simultaneously, a result of increased pressure on the bladder. Surprisingly, many find themselves feeling both full and hungry at the same time, highlighting the unique way the body reacts during this period. Exploring these symptoms can help expectant mothers feel understood and validated in their experiences!
