my husband and i have both came to the agreement of teaching our children, that santa isn’t a real life being. but more so, a character in a story who is part of a tradition. and no, she won’t ruin it for other kids lol. she’ll learn that different families celebrate differently. and that we focus on Jesus and enjoy santa as part of the fun.

so she’ll know: daddy and mommy give gifts and not santa.

we give gifts because God gave to us. Christmas is about Jesus. santa is a fun part of Christmas that reminds us to give and be joyful.

we celebrate Jesus, and we practice generosity.
