Bc what do you mean you hate being outside where we as humans were actually designed to be but instead we are stuck in buildings forgetting the things that took our ancestors generations to learn? What do you mean you hate being outside surrounded by all forms of life and simply just existing with all those around you? What do you mean you don’t like feeling the sun on your skin, or cold creek water running through your hair all because you think it’s too gross or too scary? Stop & slow down. Enjoy nature. Put your feet in the grass and look at all the little beings around you simply just ✨existing✨. The art of noticing is real, sit down outside and do it sometime!

At first, I used to feel uneasy about bugs or the unpredictability of nature, but by taking small steps—like sitting barefoot in the grass or dipping my hands in a stream—I began to appreciate the simple beauty around me. Observing insects and plants just existing made me realize how much life thrives quietly without our interference. This mindfulness practice outdoors became a form of meditation, helping me manage stress and reconnect with the natural rhythms that we often forget living inside buildings. If you feel hesitant because of fears or discomforts associated with bugs or the untamed outdoors, start small. Just a few minutes outside noticing the sunlight filtering through leaves or hearing birdsong can be transformative. Gradually, this will help overcome your worries and bring a meaningful shift towards appreciating the environment we were designed to inhabit.
