Black Myth Wukong: Baji
Newgame+9
Wow, guys, I honestly still can't believe I DEFEATED Baji in Black Myth Wukong on Newgame+9! This boss fight was an absolute nightmare, and I wanted to share my journey and hopefully help some of you who are also grinding through this incredible game. For those unfamiliar, 'Baji' is one of the most formidable adversaries you'll encounter in Black Myth Wukong. In my playthrough, Baji was a relentless master of martial arts, utilizing swift, unpredictable combos and devastating area-of-effect attacks. Facing him on Newgame+9 meant his health pool was massive, his attacks hit like a truck, and his aggression was dialed up to eleven. Every single mistake felt fatal, and trust me, I made plenty! My first few attempts were just... brutal. I was getting one-shot by moves I thought I'd dodged, mis-timing my parries, and just generally feeling overwhelmed. The sheer intensity of Newgame+9 difficulty really forces you to learn every single move pattern, every opening, and every moment of vulnerability. It's not just about raw skill; it's about patience and perfect execution. So, what finally worked for me? I focused heavily on understanding his attack chains. Baji often has a tell before his big, unblockable attacks – usually a slightly longer wind-up or a specific stance. Learning to recognize these was crucial for dodging rather than blocking, as blocking often left me vulnerable to follow-up combos that would break my posture. I also found that maintaining a medium distance was key; too close, and his rapid strikes were hard to react to; too far, and he'd close the gap with a punishing lunge. Another game-changer was my spirit animal abilities. I experimented with a few, but eventually settled on one that offered a temporary defense buff and another for a burst of damage. Timing these perfectly during Baji's recovery animations or when he was charging a slower attack made a huge difference. Don't forget to optimize your gear too! I prioritized defensive stats and spirit regeneration, as keeping my magical abilities topped up was vital for managing the fight. The moment I saw 'DEFEATED' flash across the screen after what felt like an eternity of trying was pure exhilaration. My hands were shaking, my heart was pounding, and I just sat there for a minute, soaking it all in. This game, and especially pushing through challenges like Baji on Newgame+9, is why I love gaming. It pushes you to your limits and rewards you with such an incredible sense of accomplishment. If you're on the fence about diving into Black Myth Wukong, or if you're stuck on a boss, just keep at it! The journey is tough, but the victory is unbelievably sweet. Have any of you guys fought Baji yet? What were your strategies?
