Wedding DIY inspo ✨
We all know weddings can be incredibly expensive! One way that I was able to save some money during my wedding was through doing a lot of DIY. Here were some of the things I DIYd for my wedding:
1. 🌸Florals - being a creative person, I knew this was one I could figure out how to DIY. I absolutely loved how all the florals turned out and I saved thousands of dollars. I ordered my flowers in bulk from fifty flowers and costco, spending less than $1500 altogether.
2. 🕯️Centerpieces - I primarily used the bulk flowers mentioned, as well as purchased some votives for candles and some glass cylinders for the “floating” candle effect.
3. 💕Tabletop menus - this was a super simple one! All I did was print out on word the menu, and purchased some gold floating frames from target for $16!
4. 💗Altar - this was a special one. My dad made this for me and was part of his wedding gift for me. This saved me tons of money for having to rent one, and buying one was expensive too. So the only cost here was the white fabric drape.
5. 🪑Seating arrangement sign - I purchased the mirror from goodwill, refurbished it, printed out the seating arrangement myself, wrote on the mirror myself, and finally placed gold sticker seals on each.
