9 things to do before 9am
Morning routines are a great way to start to be more of a wellness girlie! They help you build healthy and positive habits that in turn set you up for a more positive life! Here is what my morning routine looks like right now:
1. Go for a walk outside 🌳morning movement can help wake your body up and get you into a more positive mood for the rest of your day.
2. Quick journaling session ✏️ being a mom I don’t get a ton of me time, so my journaling time is much less than I used to have! I do mini journaling sessions like quickly jotting down 5 things I’m grateful for or 3 things I’m looking forward to for the day!
3. Skincare💧taking good care of my skin has become so important to me as I get older, but needing to do things quickly and efficiently means using products that target multiple concerns in one!
4. Coffee ☕️i love my morning cup of coffee, it’s one of the things I look forward to every day and it helps wake me up!
5. Hydrate 💦 water helps kick start your digestive system. I try to have drank my first liter by 9am.
6. Breakfast 🍳 hot girls eat breakfast, so don’t skip this one!
7. Stretch 🧘🏻♀️ stretching helps my body loosen up after a long nights sleep. Plus it helps me be able to play with my daughter!
8. Sunshine 🌞 morning sunlight has been proven to provide so many benefits like improving your circadian rhythm to fighting illness! So get at least 20 minutes of daily sunlight if you can!
9. Check calendar 📆 lately I like to check my calendar for the day ahead to help prioritize my to do list and have a more efficient day!
