A garlic girly asked me for this recipe 👀
Somebody asked me for the recipe and I’m so sorry. I posted the ingredients and forgot to post the recipe…
So here it is:
Ingredients:
• like 2 handfuls (maybe even 3) of garlic bullbs (trust me you want a bunch!)
• 1/3 a cup of white sesame seeds
• 1/2 a cup of a good quality olive oil (you might need more)
• 1 block of cream cheese
• 2 table spoons of red pepper flakes (or more if you love the taste like I do)
•1/2 a table spoon of parsley (fresh is best, but not obligatory)
•1 teaspoon of salt
• 1/2 teaspoon of fresh cracked black pepper
1. Preheat your oven to 375°. Grab your cream cheese out you want it to be soft so that when you add everything together,, it’s much easier to mix it in.
2. Place sesame seeds in the bottom of an oven safe dish.
3. Add your garlic to the dish and cover it all with the olive oil. Roast for about 20-30 minutes. Check it half way through. You want the garlic to be somewhat translucent, it needs to be soft enough to mash it all.
4. Once the garlic and sesame seeds have been toasted enough that they are soft blend them in a blender or with a hand blender. It needs to be a soft and smooth texture.
5. Add the cream cheese to the garlic mixture, and mix it either by hand or with the hand blender whatever is easier for you. I did by hand with a whisk.
6. Mix in your salt and pepper, then top with the parsley and red pepper flakes. (Personally I like to mix all of the seasonings and altogether so you get a little bit of parsley and red pepper flake with every little bite.
And then plate it up you can serve it with sourdough bread that’s what I used or crackers or really anything whatever you wanna serve it with. Enjoy! 🤍
