There was a time he fit right here…
curled into my shoulder like he belonged there.
No weight.
No stretching.
Just small, warm, and close enough to hear my breath.
Back then, I didn’t know I was holding a moment
that would grow.
Now he’s bigger… heavier…
still trying to climb into the same space like nothing changed 🤭
And maybe that’s the beauty of it—
love doesn’t adjust its memory just because time moves forward.
He still sees me the same.
Still finds his place the same.
And I still make room…
even when he doesn’t quite fit anymore.
