✨ SOUL-LOVE ME MORE™ ✨
For a long time, I wanted God to show me the entire journey.
Every answer.
Every turn.
Every outcome.
Every detail.
But that’s not how faith works.
God rarely hands us a spotlight for the whole road ahead.
Instead, He gives us a lamp.
And a lamp doesn’t illuminate the entire journey.
It illuminates the next step.
Just enough light to keep moving.
Just enough light to trust Him.
Just enough light to remind us that we’re not walking alone.
As I continue this Soul-Love Me More™ journey, I’m learning that healing isn’t about having everything figured out.
It’s about trusting God with the parts I cannot see.
It’s about releasing what no longer serves me.
It’s about letting go of old fears, old stories, and old versions of myself.
And it’s about believing that the same God who lit yesterday’s path will light tomorrow’s too.
🤍 “Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.”
Psalm 119:105
Today, I don’t need to see the whole journey.
I just need enough light for the next step.
And for now, that’s enough.

In my own faith journey, I've often struggled with the desire to see the full path ahead — to know every detail, outcome, and challenge before it happens. This longing for certainty can create anxiety and even stall progress. But what I’ve learned is that faith truly is about embracing the unknown and trusting each step as it comes, just like the meaningful metaphor shared here about God’s lamp. There have been moments when I felt lost in darkness, unsure of the next move, but instead of giving in to fear, I looked for that small light — that guiding voice or feeling that pointed the way forward. It’s incredible how much comfort comes from realizing that you don’t need to see the whole road; just the next step is enough to keep going. Relying on spiritual wisdom like Psalm 119:105 reminds me daily that God’s word serves as that lamp—offering just enough illumination to navigate the present challenge. I found that releasing old fears and limiting beliefs is essential; it’s like putting down a heavy burden so you can walk lighter and freer. Healing and growth often happen incrementally, through small acts of trust and courage rather than immediate clarity. I’ve found journaling and prayer useful tools to stay connected to that lamp’s light, reinforcing hope and direction when life gets murky. This approach fosters patience and grace — both toward myself and the journey — and it’s a beautiful reminder that I’m never truly walking alone. Each step illuminated is part of a larger plan unfolding in divine timing, encouraging me to embrace uncertainty with faith and peace.
